You can add products from almost any store on the web, but Priceshout may not be able to track all of them. The instructions below detail how to add a product to your product list. 1. Ensure the Priceshout bookmarklets are installed.Visit the bookmarklet instructions page for instructions on how to install the Priceshout bookmarklets. The bookmarklets allow you quick access to features on Priceshout, such as adding products to your list. If you do not wish to make use of the bookmarklet then you can use the add product form, but the product's details won't be automatically completed for you. 2. Find products you are interested inWhen you're visiting a web store and you find a product you are interested in you may use the 'Add to Priceshout' bookmarklet to add it to your list. To do this, ensure that you're on a page dedicated to that product (i.e. not a category or search results page), then press the 'Add to Priceshout' bookmarklet. See the diagram below to illustrate the correct type of page to add.

Complete any necessary detailsDepending on the product you added, you may be requested to add additional details to a product such as the current price, how Priceshout should track it etc. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete these details. 4. Tag the productAfter adding the product to your list, you will be requested to tag it. Tags are keywords that describe a product. They will be used to help you filter your list, and other users may use them to find a product that you have added. It is typically useful to tag a product with attributes such as the name or model, manufacturer, genre, specifications etc. For example, to tag a black Apple iPod Video (60gb) I may put the following text in the tags field: apple ipod video 60gb black "mp3 player" The "mp3 player" in quotes allows me to give a tag with a space in the name. The above text will result in the following tags being applied:
